Silence is the echo of solitude A full orchestra with no musicians The chairs empty, yet still in position No crash or peep can match its magnitude An emptiness that I cannot elude
It is what I feel in isolation From you, the violin, my companion For I am your bow, held in servitude Yet lowly as I am, I am your voice You match my worth when we are separate And only together are we divine Still I would not leave you had I the choice I would miss the sound when our loves combine A symphony born from our hearts entwined.
